04/11/2004: "March 6 - April 11: Early Entries"
April 11: FruitlessAfter a late day at Hornsby Bend, we returned, and watched from about 8:00 to 8:20pm with no sign of Mrs. Owl. We found him in the tree, which was a good sign,
but as it got darker, we are forced to assume that we have missed the show. :(
4/8/04 8:00pm already up. Down at 8:05. Up at 8:12, flew 8:13pm
4/7/04 8:09 pm flew
4/6/04 8:15 pm up 40sec, flew. Male sighted in tree behind.
4/2/04 6:55 pm up 2 min, down. 7:03 up, 7:05 flew, 7:19 returned
4/1/04 7:05 pm up. 7:13 flew fence. 7:16 male follows. 7:20-30 male comes to tree branch, trunk, woodpile
3/31/04 7:03 up 7:10 pm flew along fence
3/30/04 7:05 up. 7:10 flew left
3/29/04 7:09 up. Flew up into tree
3/28/04 6:50-53 pm up, down 7:07-8 up, flew. Male follows 5 sec later
3/27/04 7:05 pm female up 7:15 pm fem down 7:24 pm up 7:25 flew
3/26/04 6:49 pm f up 1 min. 6:55 pm female up 6:57 pm male flies 6:58 pm female down 7:03 pm female up 7:07 pm flies
3/24/04 Overcast. 6:51pm up. Looks straight down a while, then looks out. 6:53 A creaking inside door caused her to turn sharply & look. She then popped down. 7pm she is up. 7:01 flies.
3/23/04 Overcast. 6:39pm appears for 3 min, down inside. 6:58-7:02 Male perches on woodpile. 7:11pm, female leaves
3/22/04 Overcast. 6:57pm she appears. 7:04 flies. 7:26 returns
3/15/04 7:02 pm RM flew
3/15/04 6:26 am Red Morph(RM) returned
3/10/04 6:12 am returned. Perched a few sec bkwds, in, head out. Looked around some. 6:17 am went down
3/6/04 7:00 am head popped up! Looking out. Head quite protruded. 7:10am irrigation system hiss brought her up, looking down at it. 7:20am irrigation system brings only 1 eye up. Down in 30 sec.
